Terms and Conditions of Spiralmanaged™, hereon in referred to or as (The Practice) ...
It is a the discretion of Spiral Managed Therapists and policy to decline/ refuse treatment if necessary, with clients or potential clients coming off or going onto certain kinds of medication, during any therapy sessions or after. If you are a current client or potential client you must disclose this information on our initial consultation form before the start of therapy or if between sessions you embark on any medical or doctors intervention of medication, you must notify us immediately and give us full details so that we can make the correct decisions for continual treatment or consult your doctor if necessary and obtain permission of therapy with the Doctors/Caregiver/ Medical Practitioner. As it may be counter productive to the alternative holistic therapy we provide from past experience and may disrupt the natural process of the therapy we offer.
Consultations / Sessions
By undertaking a course of therapy with us you accept that we cannot guarantee the therapeutic outcome and that the practice fees are payable in consideration of our time and years of expertise regardless of the therapeutic outcome. That being said the occasional reason that therapy with us does not get a result is because the client is just not ready to be helped, but when you are ready we can usually help you if you are ready for us to work together and follow the process that we set out for your benefit.
Fees and Payment
Payment can be by CASH or CARD and is payed per session upfront before the session starts or upfront in blocks again payed by either payment option above. All consultation bookings at the practice are non refundable but may be carried over to another consultation at the discretion of the Practice.
We appreciate notice of cancellation 48 hours prior to your appointment. As stated above appointments once booked are non refundable. The Practice may at its discretion offer an alternative appointment time. Our Private Practice reserves the right to cancel an appointment at its sole discretion. We will only do so in the most exceptional circumstances and will give as much notice as possible. We accept no liability whatsoever for any financial or other consequences of the cancellation.
Arriving late for any appointment
If you are running late please let us know as soon as possible. We will do our best to make a full session available however note our ability to do so will depend upon bookings before and after your session booked. We cannot guarantee the possibility of seeing you if you are late as it may then run into other peoples sessions that are on time, so we need to be fair to all parties concerned.
If you ring before and we know you are going to be late, then we can tell you there and then on the phone the possibility of still seeing you or re-arranging for another time that's convenient.
Note if you are late more than once without what we feel good reason, then we reserve the right to refuse to see you in the future as we are a professional practice, our time and other clients time are paramount.
Client Confidentiality / Professional Body / Clinical Supervision
Your privacy is guaranteed in all aspects of your contact with me at the practice, in line with the Data Protection Act 1998, you are able to view your individual file by giving not less than seven days written notice. Any personal details you provide are stored securely, never passed on to others and are only used for the purpose they were provided.
The nature of e-mail communications are open to interception so I would discourage clients from disclosing private matters using this medium and would encourage them to discuss personal information about their reasons for therapy during the phone consultation instead or at the private practice room booked.
I honour full client confidentiality within the boundaries of English law and according to the code of ethics established by my professional body Atkinson Ball Standard.
In terms of confidentiality, none of the information that we cover during our hypnotherapy sessions will be disclosed to anyone else in any format. I will not reveal that you are a client or speak about any of the issues we have covered during therapy. I make brief written notes during our therapy sessions which are then stored securely.
My professional body recommends that hypnotherapists of their standard undertake clinical supervision from time to time before or after sessions from another senior qualified hypnotherapist to ensure that high standards of practice are maintained and I honour this requirement. I may speak about general client issues with my supervisor / mentor, but never discuss any details that would reveal a client’s identity. This is considered acceptable under the strict confidentiality policy laid down by my professional association and standard.

Copyright protects the physical expression of ideas. As soon as an idea is given physical form, e.g. a piece of writing, a photograph, music, a film, a web page, it is protected by copyright. There is no need for registration or to claim copyright in some way, protection is automatic at the point of creation. Both published and unpublished works are protected by copyright.
Copyright is normally owned by the creator(s) of the work, e.g. an author, composer, artist, photographer etc. If the work is created in the course of a person's employment, then the copyright holder is usually the employer.
Copyright is a property right and can be sold or transferred to others. Authors of articles in academic journals, for example, frequently transfer the copyright in those articles to the journal's publisher. It is important not to confuse ownership of a work with ownership of the copyright in it: a person may have acquired an original copyright work, e.g. a painting, letter or photograph, but unless the copyright in it has expressly also been transferred, it will remain with the creator.
Copyright is regulated by law, the main statute in the UK being the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 (CDPA). This was amended in October 2003 by the Copyright and Related Rights Regulations 2003 which incorporated into UK law the changes required by the EU Copyright Directive. Amendments to the CDPA are done periodically by government and as and when this article (Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988) is amended and passed by law / legislation then the update to this document or parts shall take president.
Any booking of a Hypnotherapy Sessions, Hypnobirthing classes or our courses, workshops or events assumes full and informed compliance to and agreement with all of these terms and conditions herein.
